About

The Fraser Shipyards Collection at UW-Superior contains project files, engineering drawings, and photographs for ships built, modified, and repaired at Fraser Shipyards in Superior, Wisconsin. This online index contains information about the engineering drawings held in the collection. Drawings date from the 1890s through the 1980s, and were used for vessel upgrades, repairs, conversions, and other projects at Fraser Shipyards between the 1950s and 1980s.

Processing and indexing of the Fraser Shipyards Collection engineering drawings was made possible through funding from a 2014 National Park Service National Maritime Heritage Grant. This online index was made possible by UW-Superior Maritime Foundation funding.
